Music & Orchestra
All classes meet with our general music teacher once a week. Classes will integrate singing, playing and movement to help our students make and understand music. Students in 3rd-8th grade have the opportunity to participate in our orchestra program. Lessons take place after school and students can choose to learn the violin, viola, or cello.
Luther Memorial provides the instrument and all required materials at no cost to the family.

Luther Memorial partners with Talespinners Children’s Theater to provide drama instruction to our Kindergarten-3rd grade students. During a 12-week residency, students learn to use body, mind, and voice to perform for an audience. The program culminates with a student-created play which is performed for the entire school.
Luther Memorial partners with Brooklyn Centre-based Art House to provide high quality, authentic art instruction to our Kindergarten - 8th graders. Artists come and provide 10-11 week residencies, creating one-of-a-kind projects with our students.
